Welcome to my website!

My name is Nick.  I have been a Personal Assistant for 10 years now (8 of those self employed)

My journey as a Personal Assistant began when I started employment at a Mind Charity in Leicestershire as a Personal Assistant. My role was to support adults with a Mental Health condition, by taking out in the community, supporting to appointments, spending time having chats, and supporting to activities of interest, and also supporting at times that Mental Health had deteoriated. I did this role full time for a year before I got promoted to working in the office as a PA Coordinator, my role was to be in regular contact with Social Workers, organise reviews, match Personal Assistants with new clients, and supervise PA's. I did this role alongside my normal PA work.

Before working as a Personal Assistant I spent 4 years employed at RNIB College working with Visually Impaired adults to help students studying at the college to become independent with everyday living skills. I also supported with activities and ran an activity of Goalball at the University once a week.

Before RNIB I worked part time and also volunteered at a day centre in Loughborough for adults with learning difficulties.  I also worked as an Activities Co-ordinator once a week at a nursing home.
